This is a translation provided for convenience. The French version is the reference.

In short

  • We collect little data: your email, when you reserve early access or request the free guide.
  • It's used to confirm your sign-up, to let you know when we open, to send you the guide if you asked for it and, if you agree, to ask for your feedback. You can say stop at any time.
  • We keep it for 3 years after your last contact, then delete it.
  • Your data is stored in Europe, with LWS in France.
  • We don't sell your data.

Who is responsible for your data?

The sole proprietorship that publishes VisibilityDaily and MargeDaily, registered in France (SIRET 910 793 264 00029). Its full details are in the legal notice.

For any question about your data: contact@visibilitydaily.com. Adam Arnaud, the founder, will reply.

We have not appointed a data protection officer (DPO). It isn't required for a business of our size.

What data do we collect?

When you fill in a form

This information is sent by email to VisibilityDaily. If you request the guide, you also get an automatic email with the link to the PDF. For early access, no automatic email is sent to you.

When you visit the site

When you write to us

The content of your emails and, if you agree to give us feedback, your answers.

Why, on what basis, and for how long?

The GDPR requires a “legal basis” for each use. Here are ours.

Letting you know when we open and asking for your feedback

What we do
Send you a confirmation email when you sign up, which also introduces MargeDaily, our other product, then write to you when VisibilityDaily opens. Ask for your feedback on the product, only if you agree.
Legal basis
Your consent, given when you reserve your access (GDPR article 6.1.a). You can withdraw it at any time: reply “stop” to any email.
Retention
Until opening, then 3 years after your last contact. “Last contact” means a message or action coming from you. If you say stop, we keep only your email on an opt-out list, so we don't write to you again.

Sending you the free guide

What we do
Give you access to the PDF and email you its link.
Legal basis
Fulfilling your request (GDPR article 6.1.b).
Retention
3 years after your last contact. Requesting the guide also signs you up for early access, under the rules above.

Protecting the form against abuse

What we do
Limit the number of submissions from the same connection. To do this, we record a hashed fingerprint of your IP address and the time of submission.
Legal basis
Legitimate interest: preventing the form from being used to send spam (article 6.1.f).
Retention
One hour. After that, the fingerprint is erased automatically the next time the form is used.

Running and securing the site

What we do
Server technical logs, kept by the host.
Legal basis
Legitimate interest: site security (article 6.1.f).
Retention
Period set by LWS, our host. We don't keep these logs ourselves. LWS GDPR contact: rgpd@lws.fr.

Measuring audience

What we do
Find out which pages and campaigns bring sign-ups. No measurement tool is active today. If we add any, they will go through Google Tag Manager, will load only with your consent, and this page will name them.
Legal basis
Your consent (article 6.1.a). You can withdraw it at any time.
Retention
13 months at most for cookies. Not applicable as long as no tool is active.

Keeping proof of your cookie choice

Legal basis
Legal obligation to prove consent (article 7.1).
Retention
Your choice is stored in your browser for 6 months, then asked again.

Recipients and processors

Only Adam Arnaud, founder of VisibilityDaily, has access to your data. We don't sell or rent it. It isn't shared with MargeDaily.

Technical providers process it on our behalf:

LWS
Site hosting and sending of the form's emails. French company, head office in Golbey (88). Servers in France.
Email
The contact@visibilitydaily.com mailbox, which receives your sign-ups: hosted by LWS, in France.
Google
Google Tag Manager and measurement tools, only if you accept. Google Ireland Limited, with possible transfers to the United States.

Where is your data?

Your data is stored in Europe. The site, the form and the emails it sends are hosted in France, by LWS. So is the contact@visibilitydaily.com mailbox.

The only exception, and only if you accept it: Google's measurement tools. Google may process data in the United States, under the Data Privacy Framework.

A single person has access to your data. They work from France.

Your rights

At any time, you can:

Write to contact@visibilitydaily.com. We reply within one month. If we have serious doubts about your identity, we may ask you to confirm it.

Filing a complaint

If you believe your rights are not respected, you can contact the CNIL, the French data protection authority:

You can also contact the data protection authority of the country where you live or work.

Cookies

A cookie is a small file stored on your device. We ask for your consent with our own banner, without any third-party tool.

Without your consent

Only with your consent

Refusing is as easy as accepting. Refusing doesn't stop you from using the site. Until you accept, Google Tag Manager isn't loaded.

Fonts

The site's fonts are hosted on our own server. Loading them sends no data to a third party and sets no cookie.

Changing your mind

You can change your choice at any time: manage my cookies.

Artificial intelligence

On this site, no AI processes the data you enter in the forms.

The VisibilityDaily product, currently being designed, plans to use AI to write the morning brief. Before opening, this page will state the model used, where processing happens and what data it receives.

Security

The site is served over HTTPS. The form is protected against bots and mass submissions. Access to data is limited to the founder.

Minors

VisibilityDaily is aimed at businesses. The site isn't intended for minors.

Changes

This page may change, for example if we add a tool or when the product opens. The date at the top of the page shows the latest version.
